WE VISITED THERE MAR.2010 & FEB. 2011 WE REALLY ENJOYED IT THERE .LOVE THE SCENERY. AND SNOWMOBILING;AND OFF COURSE FAMILY .WENT TO THE LOST PATROL SITE & THE TOWN'S PEOPLE CAMP ON THE RIVER.VERY NICE PEOPLE THERE.

I lived in Fort McPherson when I was a kid (early 80's). I lived there for a year and I have nothing but good memories. I loved it. The 24 hours of daylight and darkness was something to get used to, but I still really liked it there. I don't really remember anyone, I was very young, but I just wanted to stop by and say hello!
Hope to come back for a visit some day.

Just read about your town and the missing Mounties during the "Lost Patrol" and googled your town. I would like to visit one day, and perhaps travel where the Mounties were destined.
